AN artist has begun painting a wall on Chichester’s East Street as part of the festival.
The artist, known as Stik, hasn’t revealed what the final painting will be, but the work is already generating much interest around the city.
Geoffrey Willson, from Hayling Island, said: “I love it, I love seeing it. It generally tidies up the place. Walls can be very boring.”
Sarah and Andy Kennett, from Chichester, said: “I think it’s a good way for people to express themselves. I don’t agree with Graffiti in the wrong place but this is good”.
