A MALE pedestrian has been taken to St Richard’s Hospital in Chichester after being involved in a collision with a car.
Emergency services were called to the incident on the A27 at Portfield Roundabout in Chichester at 3.25pm today.
The A27 eastbound has been closed, and the westbound carriageway was reopened at 4.10pm.
A spokesman for Sussex Police has described the incident as a ‘serious collision’.
Reports coming in to the Observer suggest there are long delays in the area.
