Dementia Roadshow on its way to Chichester

A PIONEERING Dementia Roadshow from the Alzheimer’s Society will be visiting Chichester to increase awareness of the condition.

The Alzheimer’s Society’s Roadshow will be taking place on November 27, and offers free information and advice to anyone with queries about the condition.

The roadshow will be at Tesco Extra between 10am-4pm and aims to raise awareness and promote the benefits of an early diagnosis of Alzheimer’s.

People who are currently living with dementia or have any questions about the condition are encouraged to drop by and no appointment is necessary for the roadshow.

Chris Wyatt, Alzheimer’s Society Area Manager for the South East said: “The Dementia Community Roadshow helps us to reach out to local communities and people who may not know where to turn for help.

“Getting a diagnosis is the first step in unlocking the support and potential treatments that are available. Receiving an early diagnosis enables people to get access support when they need it and gives them the opportunity to plan for the future.
