AN event is taking place at Hillier Garden Centre in Bosham to raise money for and awareness of the Alzheimer’s Society.
On Tuesday, February 14 the managing director of the centre Andy McIndoe, will be showing visitors how to take the backache out of gardening with some handy advice.
“I’ll be showing you how to avoid those aching muscles by using the right tools for the job; and by using them properly.” he said.
“All too often gardening is seen as an arduous chore, just because we go about it in the wrong way. Do it the right way and gardening is a great way to keep fit and active, without going to the gym.”
