Families, youngsters and music enthusiasts have descended on Chichester College for the first day of the Festival of Chichester.
The Music and Food Festival has got off to a good start with bands warming up the crowds for a full day of rock, pop, bands and DJ’s.
A demo kitchen, food stall and a hog roast are just some of the things on offer and there are craft stalls and food stalls.
Live music will be continuing throughout the day and there is even a jazz stage. Bnads have been playing new material, as well as well-known covers.
One Chichester Family said they were enjoying the music on the main stage and were looking to stay for most of the afternoon.
Kathy Stone, visiting Chichester for the day, said: “It’s really nice to have events on like this during the summer. We didn’t know where to head today until someone said all this was happening.”
