A MAN is due to stand trial for an alleged murder on Boxing Day in 2010.
Gheorghe Badea, 55, is due to appear in custody at Lewes Crown Court tomorrow (Tuesday 16 April), to be tried for the murder of fellow-Romanian, 45-year old Tasin Sugaip.
Badea has pleaded not guilty.
Sugaip, who comes from Tulcea in Romania, was found stabbed to death in a plant nursery area off Almodington Lane, between Chichester and Bracklesham, when police were called to the location at 12.20am on Boxing Day, 2010.
Badea, who also comes from Romania and was living in a mobile home at the location, was arrested there soon afterwards.
A post mortem found Sugaip, who had been staying at an address in Bognor High Street since his arrival from Romania earlier in December 2010, had died from multiple stab wounds to the chest.
