RESIDENTS of a seaside town will benefit from a new information exchange from Monday (March 8), when a facility in Penny Lane is opened.
The volunteer-run shop will give residents and tourists information about local clubs, events and what the town has to offer.
“All this is being done to complement what is already on offer at the library, town council and other venues,” said Mike Nicholls, one of the founders.
“Over time we hope SIX, as it will be known, will contribute in all kinds of useful ways to Selsey life.”
The shop will be open each weekday from 9.30am-3.30pm.
In May, Selsey Community Radio will begin to record podcasts at the shop in the evenings, so the town will have its own radio.
From June a youth information section will open each day from 3.30pm-6pm.
