INTRUDERS who broke into Chichester District Council offices in East Pallant House appear to have escaped empty-handed.
A spokesperson for Sussex Police said: “Police were called to Chichester District Council offices in East Pallant, Chichester, at 10.15pm on Tuesday, April 2, after the intruder alarm was activated.
“Two men in dark clothing were seen running from the building and getting into a VW Golf car which drove off east along East Pallant and the turned towards Market Avenue.
“The building’s IT offices had been broken into but nothing appears to have been stolen. Enquiries are continuing.”
