A STRETCH of the B2141 near Harting Hill will be temporarily closed while resurfacing and other works take place.
The road, between the junction of the B2146 and Hill Lane, will be closed temporarily from 9.30am to 3.30pm from Monday, March 18 to Wednesday, March 20.
West Sussex County Council contractor Balfour Beatty is resurfacing the road.
Reflective marker posts will also be installed on the bends.
The works will cost £130,000 and are subject to suitable weather and road surface conditions.
Traffic will be diverted during daytime hours onto the B2178 and B2146 between Lavant and South Harting.
Emergency and pedestrian access will be maintained. Vehicle access to properties and businesses will be managed by the contractor.
