ELEVEN Dragonflyers trampolinists returned with nine medals from the southern regional graded competition at Farnborough.
All 11 children performed their routines with grace and precision against tough opposition from leading clubs in the south.
Eleanor Morton and James Smith gained gold in the under-15 E and over-15 D grade with Morton qualifying for the top regional grade D and Smith gaining promotion to national level competition.
Lee Burgess also qualified to move up a level to E after finishing in silver position in the over-15 F category.
Also taking silver at F grade were the under-13 girls’ team of Alice Chapman, Anya Johnston and Jess Lynn with Johnston taking individual bronze.
Taylor Cleall took bronze in her first club competition in the under-15 G group while Karis Pullen finished in third place in the under-15 D category. Natalie Pullen finished fifth in the over-15 E grade.
Dragonflyers are going from strength to strength after seeing four performers through to national-level competition in 2012.
They have started 2013 with one national qualifier and two British schools elite national finalists.
Karis Pullen gained a national qualification score but narrowly missed out on promotion. With a couple of performers at top regional grade level, the future looks very promising.
