Pompey’s League One match at home to Notts County has been postponed because of a waterlogged pitch.
Referee Tony Bates deemed parts of the Fratton Park pitch was unplayable after heavy overnight rain.
There was a chance the game could go ahead after an initial 12.30pm pitch inspection.
But with Bates having doubts over areas in the goalmouths and corners, he took another look half an hour later and ruled the clash could not be played.
A rescheduled date for the match has yet to be announced.
