A SUCCESSFUL live music charity event at a family-run pub showcased some of the best bands in the area and raised money for a good cause.
The Hole in the Wall pub, in Chichester, teamed up with Chesnut Tree House children’s hospice to put on an evening of entertainment and music from Seraphim, Santa Rita and Ribbon.
Eddie Pund, manager of The Hole in the Wall, said: “It was nice to see local bands supporting a local charity and each other.
“A big thank you to everyone who came to the event, an amazing evening for a worthy charity.”
Father Christmas and his elves also visited the Hole in the Wall to meet some lucky children as an early festive treat.
All the children received a goody bag of sweets, a toy and a photo with santa while he enjoyed mulled wine and mince pies.
Staff from Marks and Spencers and NatWest also visited Father Christmas and gave him their Christmas lists.
“It was so nice to see other businesses supporting the pub, it’s nice to know the festive season brings people together,” said Eddie.
“Thank you to everyone who came to the pub. We wish everyone in Chichester a Happy Christmas and prosperous new year.”
