Police and Crime Commissioner votes for Chichester area declared

The results for the Police and Crime Commissioner elections in the Chichester district have been unveiled.

Katy Bourne, the Conservative Party candidate had the most votes in the area: 5,576.

Behind her, with 3,284 votes, was Ian Chisnall, the Independent candidate.

In third place was Tony Armstrong,of the UK Independence Party, who gained 2,336 votes.

Next was Liberal Democrat David Rogers, with 1,398 votes, who was followed by Godfrey Daniel, the Labour Party candidate, with 1,814 votes.

The turnout to vote in the district was 16.23 per cent. Across the whole of Sussex, it was 15.82 per cent.

The final count has yet to be declared with the overall winner for the counties not yet named.
