The new county councillor for Midhurst has been named.
John Cherry has been named the victor after a by-election was held for the division on Thursday, November 15.
Mr Cherry, the Conservative Party candidate, won with 1,410.
Also running was Douglas Denny, for the UK Independence Party - he received 392 votes.
In total, from an electorate of 8,803, the percentage who voted was 21.47%.
