A COUPLE from Chichester were found dead in their home, police have confirmed.
Just before midday on Thursday (November 8), Sussex Police were called to a house in Whyke Marsh, and found the bodies of the occupants, a 44-year old man and his 22-year old wife.
Paramedics attended and confirmed the deaths shortly afterwards.
A Sussex Police spokeswoman said: “The deaths are currently being treated as unexplained but not suspicious and police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the deaths.
“Police are working with the Coroners Officer to establish the full circumstances and a postmortem is due to be held.”
Residents of Whyke Marsh expressed concern and sadness on Facebook after hearing the news, and one woman said: “I wondered why all the police cars were there. RIP thoughts are with the family.”
