EXPECT delays on the A27 eastbound from Emsworth to Chichester after a lorry and a car towing a caravan collided.
A Sussex Police spokesperson said: “Police and emergency services were called this afternoon (October 22) to the A27 eastbound between Emsworth and Chichester following a collision between a broken down car towing a caravan and a lorry at around 12:45pm.
“The caravan overturned on impact and lay demolished across the carriageway eastbound and lane one remains closed whilst the Highways Agency attend.
“There are no serious injuries but traffic has built up for several miles and drivers are advised to use an alternative route.”
